The insurance market has seen profound changes in recent years: the digital transformation and the evolution of consumption models – also following the pandemic period – have led to the emergence of new risks and new coverage needs, requiring insurance companies and intermediaries to evolve towards an increasingly personalized offer and leading to an acceleration of trends that were already underway in this market segment. The numbers speak for themselves: research by Lokky, conducted on micro-businesses, professionals and freelancers, revealed that on the insurance front, over half of the entrepreneurs (51.5%) declared that they wanted personalized advice and proposals based on their coverage needs, and that for this purpose, 75.4% said they were willing to share information on their professional activity and over 58% said they were willing to share non-sensitive personal data. The totally digital approach, in fact, accelerates and manages in a rapid, effective, scalable manner, customisation, estimates on different products, digital signatures of customers, replacement archiving of documents (paperless) and supports the correct application of the new rules which aim to increase the transparency and traceability of consents.
Lokki – operational since 2020 and founded by Paolo Tanfoglio and Sauro Mostarda – offers to professionals and companies a totally digital experience: from understanding insurance needs, to customizing the product, passing through payment up to the issuing and signing of the policy. Thanks to innovative technologies in the field of Smart Analytics and Data Enrichment, with the proprietary algorithm optimized in recent years, Lokky offers customers only the coverage most suited to their needs, through total customization of the available products, eliminating superfluous coverage and related costs. The company currently covers the insurance needs of more than 200 types of customers with solutions ranging from damage to buildings to civil liability, employee liability, damage to contents, theft, professional liability, legal protection, other damage to property, and cyber risk. Furthermore, Lokky is natively ready to be integrated by external partners, both digital and physical: Financial Institutions, Fintech and Corporate will be able to incorporate its offer into their own, with great ease of integration, as demonstrated by the 16 already active partnerships.
