Lokky awarded as Future50 by Insurtech Insight and Sønr

Lokky was awarded by Insurtech Insights and Sønr as Future50: it is one of the 50 early stage insurtech startups destined to shape and innovate the European insurance landscape.

Lokky is the only Italian startup of 2021 – alongside Poleecy – to have received this award.
Being among the Future50 represents one of the most authoritative awards at a global level and represents the culmination of months of research and analysis of the most promising companies in the insurtech sector: thousands of startups were evaluated, selected by a jury of over 20 C-level judges. The previous edition, focused on the American market, featured some companies that have already received important funding from funds, business angels and institutional investors, including Boxx Insurance ($10 million), Insurify ($100 million), Sayata ($ 17 million), Trustlayer ($15 million) and Digisure ($13 million).

Lokky is the first digital insurance broker aimed at micro businesses, professionals and freelancers; thanks to innovative technologies in the field of Smart Analytics and Data Enrichment, with the proprietary algorithm – developed by the company’s internal data scientists and already tested on more than 60,000 real customers – the platform identifies the tailor-made policy, through a total customization of the available products, offering a service that would be difficult to receive in the traditional market due to the time and profitability constraints typical of a product provided in person. The experience offered to professionals and businesses is totally digital and allows you to sign up for a policy in less than 10 minutes.

This latest recognition from Lokky comes after numerous other awards: in 2020 the company won the award in the «Non-Life Product Innovation» category for «the suitability of the digital solution of the multi-risk non-life product for bancassurance» at the sixth edition of the Future Bancassurance Awards and the recognition as Best Digital Product for the Corporate market at the first edition of the Italian Insurtech Summit. Lokky was also selected as a partner by the Vittoria hub, a physical incubation space for InsurTech and open innovation, promoted by Vittoria Assicurazioni. Recognitions for its highly innovative character also came from European institutions, it was in fact included in the prestigious DIA TOP 100 Insurtech of the 2019 and selected at Finovate 2020. Lokky was also named among Forbes’ 100 insurtech leaders of 2021.
