RC Asseveration: the ad hoc policy for the 110% Superbonus

The role of the sworn representative has been reviewed several times over the course of these months to make it easier to use the 110% Superbonus, an important relaunch tool for the country. This means that some professionals have probably already signed up for a policy that may no longer be functional today.
Some then opt for a modification of their insurance with an addendum that allows them to satisfy all the constraints listed. Although, to comply with all the constraints established in Legislative Decree 24/2020, it is preferable to take out new insurance.

In fact, to protect the technician and consequently also the customer, the architect, engineer or surveyor who is responsible for issuing the Asseveration certificate, is required to take out a policy that is provided exclusively for the purposes set out in the Law Decree. Furthermore, reference is clearly made to some characteristics of the policy which must provide a maximum limit appropriate to the type of intervention being carried out and greater than 500 thousand euros. Therefore, it is advisable to provide for the extension only if the technician deals with sworn statements in very rare and extemporaneous situations and it is not his main professional activity.
Otherwise it is certainly better to optimize the business and protect yourself from any risk with civil liability policies specifically provided for this type of certifications and activities, such as Lokky’s sworn liability insurance policy.

In the case of the Lokky policy, these constraints are satisfied as there is a limit that starts from 500 thousand euros and which can be extended up to 1.5 million euros.
If you need to provide a higher limit, it is also possible to take out a personalized policy tailored to this type of emergency.
